Life in Writing

A good writer is a person who brings their personal experiences to life for others, through their writing. In "Goody Two Shoes" the paragraph that begins with "stop thinking about writing..." really spoke to me the first and second time I read through it. If you are finding yourself unable to write, stop pushing so hard, and go live life. Decorate, plant a garden, read a new book, and bring the experiences back with you when you resume your writing. Life will help to make your content more interesting, easier to relate to, and more natural.

Another idea that stuck out to me is that writing can be rebellious. Don't approach it as a task to complete. You should have something to say, with passion and the necessary knowledge to support your ideas. Be confident in your message even at the risk of ruffling some feathers, or challenging your own perceptions.
